We will help at home during the day, so you can do other activities; or overnight, so that you can get some sleep. We can help with preparing meals, getting you or your loved one  washed and dressed, or helping  to get you out and about.

Dementia Care
Dementia Care

Alzheimer’s and other dementia cause memory, thinking, and behavioural changes that interfere with daily living. The disease affects every individual differently, so it is important to find the right dementia help for your loved ones who has been diagnosed.

Companionship
Companionship

Companionship is an important but often overlooked benefit of  care. Having a visitor can make all the difference and our support worker can share a conversation, provide friendship, and help you or your loved one stay socially connected to family, friends, and the community.

Respite
Respite

Respite can be short-term or temporary for example, if your regular carer has booked a holiday or at short notice due to an emergency. We can give that extra care and support when your usual caregiver is away, and it is also an option for friends and family if they are unable to take on the responsibility.

Meet Our Owner

I was born in Jamaica, and as a child spent my formative years growing up in the United Kingdom. I graduated from “University of Central England” with a degree in Business Management and hold other Higher Education Certificates in Care Management. A multi-disciplinarian with over three decades of community work experience working in the Private, Public and Voluntary sectors with productive project management skills. Skills and experience involved supporting, coaching, and training others to help people to reach and achieve their goals. Having retained a well-proven history of administration and organisational management capabilities, I went on to initiate and managed my own successful business from 2013 – 2023 within the care sector. I provided Day and Home Care services, especially for Black Elderly people in the UK, and now returned to my homeland with a natural passion for caring for elderly people, and resourceful professionalism, Affinity Home Help (Ahh) is born. My desire is to incept the same level of care and support to seniors that have returned and or returning to their motherland, and to be able to create career opportunities for like-minded people in the caring industry. Personally, I want to assure my clients they can feel safe in the knowledge they will be in safe hands with Ahh!

"I needed some home support for my frail and elderly wife on a short-term basis because I had to go away on business, and I came across AHH. Charley was very professional in her approach and explained clearly what she could provide about the organisation. She provided companionship for my wife and supported her with chores around the home. Highly recommended!"

"I have been living on my own for quite some time and found myself getting into a rut with my daily living. A friend referred me to AHH to help sort my well-being and finances out as I was unable to manage to keep up with my hospital/doctors appointments and outstanding. Charley came along to see me, and soon after, she had everything sorted out for me. She even got my shopping delivered. I now have a better quality of life, and the opportunity to have some companionship on a weekly basis.
I knew I could not have done these things on my own, given my health issues.
Thanks to Charley and her team!"
